Connecting Google Services

What are Google Connectors?

Google connectors allow Nucleus AI to access your Google services, enabling powerful integrations like:

• Reading and analyzing Google Drive files
• Searching through Gmail messages
• Checking and managing Calendar events

Available Google Connectors

• Google Drive: Access documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
• Gmail: Read and search emails
• Google Calendar: View and manage events

Connecting Google Drive

Step 1: Open Connector Settings

1. Start a chat session
2. Click the connector icon in the chat composer
3. Find Google Drive in the list

Step 2: Authorize Access

1. Click Connect
2. A Google sign-in window will appear
3. Select your Google account
4. Review the permissions requested
5. Click Allow

Step 3: Verify Connection

Once connected, you'll see a green checkmark next to Google Drive. You can now:

• Ask the AI to analyze your Drive files
• Reference documents in your conversations
• Create new files directly from the AI

Permissions Explained

Nucleus AI requests these permissions:

Your data is secure: We only access files you explicitly mention or request, and we never store your file contents permanently.

Managing Connected Services

To disconnect a service:

1. Open connector settings
2. Find the connected service
3. Click Disconnect

You can also revoke access from your Google Account settings at any time.

Troubleshooting

Connection Failed

If the connection fails:

1. Check that pop-ups are allowed for the site
2. Try using a different browser
3. Clear your browser cookies and try again

Files Not Appearing

If your files aren't showing:

1. Verify the file is in your Drive (not shared with you)
2. Check file permissions in Google Drive
3. Try disconnecting and reconnecting

Using Connected Files in Chat

Once connected, you can reference files naturally:

• "Summarize my quarterly report from Drive"
• "What does my budget spreadsheet say about Q4?"
• "Find all documents mentioning the product launch"
